This Sunday afternoon, May 25th, 12:30-2:30PM, MAMA DIGDOWN'S BRASS BAND plays brunch out on the Flatbush Farm patio. Mama Digdown’s has traveled the world spreading the gospel of New Orleans brass band music and earned a reputation as one of the tightest and hardest hitting brass bands on the scene. Sunday they'll play New Orleans jazz standards on the patio in the style of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Don't miss it. As Branford Marsalis has said of Mama Digdown’s, “Ya’lls sound is fat, I thought you were from back home!”
Join us and former Flatbush Farm chef Stephen Browning on Tuesday, May 13th as we usher in spring with a special four-course feast! Steve joins us from the Berkshires, where he is chef at the Prairie Whale, bringing with him some of his foraged and grown goodies.

Flatbush Farm welcomes in spring 2014 and the opening of our patio garden for the season with a MEXICAN BBQ this Sunday, May 4th, 4PM to 6PM, in celebration of Cinco De Mayo.
Chef Chris grills corn w/ chipotle lime aioli and pecorino cheese out on the patio. We will have guacamole & pico de gayo w/ chips, as well as chicharones. The outdoor kitchen will also cook up fish tacos, bean tacos, and corned beef tacos w/ lime sour cream, pickled onions, queso fresco, and cilantro. A great way to open the patio garden for the year, welcome in spring, and honor El Día de la Batalla de Puebla.
Flatbush Farm celebrates NYC Beer Week, February 21st to March 2nd with tap takeovers and special limited edition beers from our favorite New York breweries (with plenty of beer geeks behind the bar). SINGLECUT from Queens, OTHER HALF, ROCKAWAY BREWING, PEEKSKILL, DOC'S DRAFT CIDERS, and Brooklyn's SIXPOINT BREWERY are some of the brews we'll have on tap. We'll offer our customary bar food menu along with them, as well as the chef's full dinner menu.
